Comments: It's *everywhere*
You should see Rocky and Nancy (our rabbits) right now; it's like they're completely made of fur and it's ALL COMING OUT AT ONCE. Eva is collecting it to try and spin something out of it. We'll have to see...

It seems I jumped the gun slightly. The day after his bath he shed incredibly, but then it tailed off. It's still more than he was shedding before, but I get a reprieve before the real hard-core spring shed occurs, I guess.

I did collect a bunch of the brushed/raked fur during last year's shed, though, and I do think I'll be able to spin it into a nice single-ply chunky yarn. Even with multiple years' worth, though, it seems like the quantity wouldn't be enough to do anything useful with. We'll see, I guess.

If you want to try and spin it, you should definitely talk to Eva. She just recently got a charka (a portable spinning wheel designed by Ghandi...how cool is that?) and has had some pretty good luck with making wool yarn. If you're not familiar with it, here's a pic and article: http://www.pacificwoolandfiber.com/Charkha.htm
