I'd be willing to bet that someone, somewhere, is trying to figure out how to get the rights to do Moulin Rouge onstage. I mean, they did Titanic for cryin' out loud.
You know, come to think of it, one of my biggest problems with the movie was it's cinematography, so maybe a stage version wouldn't be all bad...
Odd. It was the cinematography and the very visuality of the show that made me like it so much. If they do ever make a stage show of it, it would have to be very, very different.
That's not to say that it was a very big problem, but there were definately moments where it was so visually interesting that I really wanted more than the split-second glimpse I got. It just bothered me in some moments, is all.
